Over the last couple days, we have finally seen official news on Electronic Arts newest installment to the FIFA series. July 9 kicked off a whirlwind of news from Electronic Arts with the official reveal revealing Kylian Mbappe, once again, as the FIFA cover athlete. Electronic Arts went on to tease a “game-changing reveal” coming July 11. Many speculated this reveal could be a new game mode or a feature. Well, the official trailer for FIFA 22 is now here, and instead of a trailer full of players scoring goals, or a loud crowd buzzing over an amazing match, EA decided to focus on announcing their new HyperMotion Technology in its FIFA 22 reveal trailer.
FIFA 22 Hypermotion Technology
With the announcement of a “game-changing reveal”, EA showcases an enhanced way to capture players likenesses. The trailer features players from Real Madrid, Liverpool, PSG and Chelsea wearing motion capture gear. This technology aims to give realistic animations and movements to mimic real footballers. With each installment looking to improve FIFA’s gameplay, over the years FIFA has seen improvements to its AI intelligence and tactics but not on this level. HyperMotion Technology aims to make FIFA feel more authentic and look more realistic on next-gen consoles.
FIFA 22 Pre-orders and Release Date

Let us know in the comments if you are going to pre-order FIFA 22, and how excited you are for the game. FIFA 22 will release worldwide on October 1, 2021 and is available on all consoles including Nintendo switch.
