From the makers of Golf Story comes a new sports adventure RPG, Soccer Story. Imagen if the world’s biggest sport was banned from being played again. If you are a Manchester United fan, this might be the worst news given how bad the team is at the moment.
But, Soccer Story takes place after the events of The Calamity; this catastrophe tore all the very foundations of soccer apart and banned everyone from playing the sport.
Who are you in Soccer Story?
One year after The Calamity, you are chosen by a magical ball as the Savior of Soccer. Your new role is to help heal the world through step-overs and smashing in top bins.
The publisher, No More Robots, states that the game will give players 15 hours of story-based missions and side quests. You will play soccer matches against many oppositions throughout your journey, like ninjas, sharks, and old-age prisoners. In addition, the game will focus on using a soccer ball to solve puzzles and unlock the secrets of the world. In addition to the single-player mode, this RPG will also feature a four-player co-op mode.
Soccer Story Closed Beta
Soccer Story is slated for 2022 and will be available on PC, Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and Playstation. However, the game will have a closed beta ahead of its launch. You can sign up for the closed beta here.
