Freddie Freeman- Freeman is a proven player and this is another no doubter for me. He will become a gold within the next few weeks.
Lance Lynn- Another proven starter in Lynn and he is 1 point away from gold. He had a little bit of bad luck with no run support, but the metrics support Lynn heavily. He should become a gold within the next 2-3 weeks.
Dallas Keuchel-He just got bumped to a Silver, so it may be a few more weeks for him to turn gold. Get him while his cheap!
Jacob deGrom- This one I am not entirely sure on, but this is more of a dark horse. If he continues from his rookie of the year campaign then he will easily become a gold. He has an above average start thus far.
Starling Marte- Another no doubter for me. He hits clean up and has surpassed McCutchen this year, in my opinion. His power and contact vs righties should increase, bumping him up to a gold card.
Lorenzo Cain- This is another no doubter. He is an 84 overall and is reminding me of Gomez/Cutch. He will become a gold sooner or later.
Players that may decrease:
Heyward-Poor start offensively for Heyward. He won’t drop to a bronze, but his overall market value may go down. He was one of the better options to start in RF for those budget squads, but that may change.
McCutchen- He is off to a slow start and he may get downgraded to a gold. We will see if SDS will give him more or not.
Chris Davis- He is an 85 overall, so if SDS decided to drop his contact or power at all then he will drop to a silver. He is not off to a terrible start, but he doesn’t look like the same Davis from 2013.
Anibal Sanchez- Sanchez is an 86 overall and is due for a downgrade at some point. Be weary and cautious of this.
Chase Utley- This is almost a given that Utley will drop to a silver, since he is an 85 overall. Sell him off!
