R.B.I. Baseball 16 has its cover athlete, and it’s Boston Red Sox outfielder Mookie Betts. This makes Betts, who is 23 years old, the second youngest player to be featured on the cover of an MLB video game.
Below is some trivia about Mookie Betts, via the announcement from the R.B.I. website.
- Mookie’s initials spell MLB (Markus Lynn Betts)
- Betts is ranked among the AL’s top 20 hitters in many offensive categories, including batting average, stolen bases, OPS, slugging percentage, runs scored and hits in 2015.
- He is also one heck of a bowler
