Arcade Archives HIGHWAY RACE launches
HAMSTER Co. announced HIGHWAY RACE releases for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on this week. Those interested can pick the game up digitally for Arcade Archives series by HAMSTER. HIGHWAY RACE is a racing game released by TAITO in 1983. Players run through each course avoiding obstacles and other vehicles. The goal is to successfully jump across to the opposite bank at the end of each course and land safely with a parachute.
EA sponsors Jon Armstrong for 2022 Junior WRC Title Charge
EA Sports enters the pinnacle of rally motorsport by sponsoring Codemasters developer, Jon Armstrong’s, quest for the 2022 Junior WRC title. The newly formed team of Jon Armstrong and co-driver Brian Hoy, debut this weekend in Sweden. Fans can follow the action as well as get exclusive behind the scenes content, including the car reveal, via the Rally Twitter channel. The Junior WRC continues to be one of the premium series on the calendar. The series exclusively features drivers under 30.
Assetto Corsa Competizione launches on console
505 Games announced the release of Assetto Corsa Competizione for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Assetto Corsa Competizione sets the standard for sim racing on consoles. Players can compete across 11 GT3 championship tracks with each track crafted with a dedication to authenticity. In addition, the game features photorealistic weather conditions, dynamic night races, motion capture animation, as well as multi-channel audio sampling. Those who order the physical retail Day One Edition receive the 2020 GT WORLD CHALLENGE PACK DLC, which includes:
- Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari – Imola
- Two cars: Ferrari 488 GT3 EVO 2020 and Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO (2020)

Session Skate Sim Major update trailer
Session invites players to dive into the genuine 1990s skateboarding way of life. The game’s ultra-realistic physics bring the sensations of skateboarding to life. In addition, the studio integrated ground-breaking gameplay in the “True Stance Stick“. Each foot is independently managed using the two sticks. With a learning curve as demanding as in real life, players have to practice how to control their board and pull off all the different stunts available in the game. With the new update, players can find the following:
- Genuine skateboarding sensations through realism, immersion as well as difficulty
- Innovative gameplay featuring the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet
- Official content extended: currently, four pro skaters are available, and the game integrates iconic clothing as well as skateboard brands
- Legendary locations selected by the game’s creators including Black Hubbas and Brooklyn Banks in New York
- A comprehensive video tool to capture reels of your sessions
MotoGP 22 launching this April
Milestone announced MotoGP 22 comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Steam April 21.
This year, MotoGP 22 added new features dedicated to the newcomers ,as well as those looking to improve their style and master the gameplay mechanics. With the Revised Tutorial and the new MotoGP Academy, everyone can become a champion.
The Revised Tutorial includes a series of short gameplay sessions with custom rules to help new players to understand the basics of the game. The new MotoGP Academy teaches how to improve and perfect riding styles to be faster on every track. MotoGP 22 includes the full 2022 season with all the official content. This means 120+ official riders and over 20 official circuits. Additionally, more than 70 Historic Riders and bikes are available to bring back all the emotions of MotoGP legends.
GRID Legends launches on console
EA and Codemasters have officially launched GRID Legends for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 as well as PC. Furthermore, the game features all-action gameplay, an intuitive Race Creator, Electric Boost mode, new global locations, an epic “Driven to Glory” story mode and much more. Plus, EA Play subscribers can enjoy a 10-hour trial, with the Deluxe Edition available to EA Play Pro members.
