A new video has been released detailing some of the exciting new additions for MLB The Show 17.

Making the game feel ‘real’ seems to be one of the developer’s biggest objectives, so with real ball physics and more realistic A.I, MLB The Show 17 should feel more like a simulation than any of it’s predecessors.

There will also be more details about improvements to throwing, cat-and-mouse gameplay, however only the catcher throwing meter was shown in detail.

Finally, they have added hundreds, if not thousands, of new animations. Some of these will be used to improve the effectiveness of throwing, others are just new celebrations or stances.

It’s an exciting time to be an MLB The Show fan.
