MLB The Show 18 Drops New Content, Roster Upgrade and Event

San Diego Studio (SDS) released another huge content update for MLB The Show 18 Diamond Dynasty today. This update includes changes to roster attributes, over a dozen new cards, a new event, new program and more. Here’s a complete breakdown.

Today’s roster update features attribute upgrades and downgrades, as well as team changes as a result of recent trades or signings. Below are some of the major attribute changes.

Next, a new event is open. The Silver Studs Event is features silver and common players only. Games are three innings long. The exclusive event reward is 95 overall Hardware Series legend Jason Giambi. Earn him by racking up 25 cumulative wins. His ratings are below.

Additionally, Set 12 is now available in packs. Diamond flashack Jacoby Ellsbury (90 overall) is the new set exclusive card. His ratings are below.

A new diamond has been added to the ticket counter. Hardware Series legend Ron Guidry (92 overall) costs 6,000 tickets. His ratings are below.

Lastly, a new conquest program is available. Conquest Destiny is a mutated version of Conquest Part One and Conquest Extreme. Per SDS, here are the program details:

Missions

The road to switch-hitting Legend Eddie Murray (Diamond, 94 OVR 1B) will not be easy. Six sets of themed Missions challenge you to conquer different team strongholds using turn-based Missions. Easy Missions can be completed in unlimited turns. Medium Missions must be completed before a certain number of turns, and Hard Missions must be completed in even fewer turns.

Rewards

Easy Missions: Complete all six Easy Missions to earn two Diamond rewards in the Program.
Medium Missions: Complete all six Medium Missions to earn four Diamond rewards in the Program.
Hard Missions: Complete all six Hard Missions to earn all six Diamond rewards in the Program including Legend Eddie Murray. His player item only can be earned once all six Hard Missions are complete.

Postseason legend Eddie Murray is a 94 overall, and his detailed ratings are below.
