Yesterday, while reporting on the Michael Jordan Edition of NBA 2K23, I commented that I hoped we’d see another NBA 2K WNBA Edition this year. Good news: 2K did not wait until July 7 to confirm that the WNBA Edition is here to stay. Joining His Airness as NBA 2K23 cover athletes are two additional legendary ballers. Phoenix Mercury’s Diana Taurasi and Seattle Storm’s Sue Bird will share the cover of the NBA 2K23 WNBA Edition.

More Greatness – NBA 2K23 WNBA Edition

It’s a wonder one cover can contain so many accolades. NBA 2K23 sticks with it’s “Greatness is Calling” tagline on this one. Taurasi and Bird combine for 7 WNBA Championships. Taurasi holds the WNBA all-time scoring record, while Bird is the all-time assists leader. They’re both five-time Olympic gold medalists. I imagine it’s harder to think of something they don’t excel at.

As part of this cover, 2K is teaming up with Taurasi and Bird to make a $100,000 donation to Every Kid Sports. This specific partnership will helps girls from income-restricted families cover local basketball league registration fees. “This partnership with 2K and the phenomenal athletes involved is an exciting opportunity for our organization,” said Natalie Hummel, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Every Kid Sports. “We are truly humbled by their support and commitment to our mission to close the gap in access to recreational youth sports.”

My only real issue with the reveal is that, unlike yesterday’s trailer, today did not offer any new gameplay footage. We did get in-game renders of Taurasi and Bird via NBA 2K’s Twitter. However, we’ll have to wait another 24 hours before we get more Next Gen NBA 2K23 visuals.

NBA 2K leak account 2KIntel reported that, allegedly, NBA 2K23 Next Gen will return to The City. A screenshot posted to their Twitter shows what could be a bullet point from tomorrow’s press release. There’s no confirmation from 2K Games. We’ll have to wait for July 7 to see if this and the leak of the third cover athlete are true.

I am making $92 an hour working from home. i was greatly surprised at the same time as my neighbour advised me she changed into averaging $ninety five however I see the way it works now. I experience mass freedom now that I’m my non-public boss.
