EA Sports has released two short videos making some bold promises for FIFA 18.

Released originally via their Facebook page, the first video boasts that thanks to “real player motion tech,” fans will see recognizable player personality in their movements. They highlight this by showing off clips from players doing some impressive dribbling moves on the field.

The other video highlights the gameplay effects of the new crossing control FIFA 18 offers. The biggest advancement is being able to control where the ball goes rather than strictly sending it to another player. We covered a similar new technique for Madden 18: Target Passing. Seeing how close the two are will have to wait until we can get our hands on both games closer to release.

The videos are highly edited, so it’s hard to tell what we can truly expect in-game. However, the clips they showed off are promising, and with our coverage on the upcoming suite of EA games, we’ll report with any new information when it arrives.

FIFA 18 comes out on September 29th, 2017 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
