Football Manager 2023 releases on November 8; however, not much is known about Sports Interactive’s upcoming football title. While more news on FM23 is coming later this October, here is what to expect from Football Manager 2023.

Football Manager 23 on PS5

While Football Manager’s most popular platform is PC, Sports Interactive’s newest game will be available for PS5 for the first time. In addition, FM23 will be available on Xbox Game Pass once again for PC and console players.

More Data Features

Last year, FM22 introduced the Data Hub tab, which gives players a more in-depth look into their club’s performance from game to game. This feature was well-detailed and showcased passing stats, heat maps, and visual graphs.

Expect Sports Interactive to develop this feature further in this year’s Football Manager title. Maybe Football Manager 2023 will implement some pressing stats or new analytic features to help improve your club.

More action on the Pitch

Football Manager 2022 improved last year’s match engine to enhance the on-field football experience. Last year, Sports Interactive improved the game’s overall gameplay with a new player fitness system. This system affected players based on their current condition on the pitch. If a player were tired, they would struggle to continue to perform well on the pitch.

I would love to see more realistic features, such as improving the gameplay and adding more systems like players’ fitness. It brings a different tactical element to the game and keeps you making those big decisions as a football manager.

We don’t know what Football Manager 2023 will bring to the table, but we will learn later this October. While you wait for the game’s release, you can check out my review of last year’s game below.
