Gameplay

On-court gameplay movements provides players more control on how they score the ball. This improves offensive moves and combos as well as how defense counters those moves.

Seasons

Across fan-favorite experiences, Seasons allow players to extend and enhance their ambitions post launch providing more content, more rewards, and more ways to play. This year, Seasons introduces an all-new way to level up your MyPLAYER and earn exciting prizes in the City on PS5/XBS and in the Neighborhood. More details will be revealed about the Seasons experience later in August.

MyTEAM

An evolved experience gives MyTEAM players more ways to build and compete with their own dream teams. New challenges, rewards, and events make every Season fresh and unique. This year, NBA 2K22 brings back the MyTeam: Draft. Furthermore, MyTEAM progress and collections will be transferable between consoles that are within the same platform family. This includes VC wallet, MyTEAM Point, and MyTEAM Token balances.

New City

The biggest online basketball community is getting a makeover. The City will be teeming with life, activity, and interactivity.

New Neighborhood

On PlayStation4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms, players will compete in an all-new Neighborhood built on the spacious decks of a sailing cruise ship.

MyCAREER

The all-new City and MyCAREER become one in a ground-breaking narrative experience on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Players embark on a personal journey to the pros while navigating a sprawling MyCAREER life. This includes exploring the City, seeing new and familiar faces, and hooping their way to exciting new heights.

MyNBA & MyWNBA

Build a winning franchise by making sure the staffing is just as strong as the hooping.

Several of newest and most exciting features like the New City, MyNBA and MyWNBA will only be available on Xbox Series X|S and the PS5. In NBA 2K22, team management is about more than just the players on the court; it’s about the personnel scouting them, training them, and coaching them. MyNBA/MyWNBA players can build the winningest franchise by making sure the staffing is just as strong as the hooping. Check out the Courtside Report for the full breakdown.
