As we get closer to the release of AEW: Fight Forever, more details are coming out, and this time Yuke’s has revealed the preorder bonus. AEW: Fight Forever will be released later this month on the 29th, with availability across a wide range of consoles: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

AEW Fight Forever Pre-Order Details

Matt Hardy

Though, it’s not just one Matt Hardy. Longtime WWE fans will also be happy to know you’ll get a Hardy Boyz version along with Broken Matt. With the success of Yuke’s WWE games, it wouldn’t be wrong to feel excitement for this release. Fans have been waiting on this game for nearly three years since it was initially announced back in November 2020. Much of the hype comes from the fact Hideyuki “Geta” Iwashita is the director of this game. For those of you who don’t know who he is, this is the legendary director behind the game No Mercy. A game that is still regarded as one of the greatest wrestling games ever made, and if that wasn’t hype enough, Yuke’s senior producer Hiromi Furuta confirmed that No Mercy is being used as a critical influence when making Fight Forever.

Kenny Omega addressed the style of graphics

Everyone knows that WWE2K is known for its realistic graphics, and Fight Forever has taken a lot of flak for theirs not being up to par. Though Kenny Omega explained, AEW is not trying to compete with WWE2K in terms of production value but have superior gameplay with a focus on the wrestling aspect of the game. Being an avid gamer himself, Omega said, “For us, rather than pushing the envelope drastically or anything like that, we just want the wrestling to feel how it used to feel for the people who would play wrestling games back in the day and just have fun with fellow wrestling fans or people who want to have fun with their buddies.
